This record is completely out of
sequence when compared with the UK issues. It is derived from a French issue.
This is obvious from the purple Odeon label, and the French "Odéon"
spelling. In France it was issued as a juke-box single on a dark green label without a picture sleeve. However, the record in question is without doubt a genuine Belgian artefact, as the "K.A." indication is typical for Belgian pressings. The mistaken song duration (2:33 for both songs) was copied straight from the French single. The sleeve is clearly based on the artwork for the Belgian A Hard Day's Night film poster. |
